Privacy notice

Web Lighthouse is the controller for personal data collected through weblighthouse.click and through email at hello@weblighthouse.click. Our office is at Level 6, 76 Placeholder Avenue, Petaling Jaya 00000.

What we collect

From the enquiry form: name, email, the review format you selected, optional preferred week, optional send volume, and the message you typed. From email or phone: whatever you choose to send. During an engagement: contact names, interview notes, and the business files you upload (which may contain identifiers from your users if you failed to strip them — please strip them).

We do not ask for identity-card numbers, payment-card details, or health information.

Why we collect it

To reply to briefs, to perform the contracted review, to invoice, and to keep records required under Malaysian tax law. Legal bases we rely on include steps at your request before a contract, performance of a contract, and legitimate interests in running a small professional practice.

Retention

Unsuccessful enquiries are deleted after 12 months. Engagement files, including working copies of logs, are deleted within 90 days after the final PDF unless monthly office hours continue or tax law requires us to keep invoices (seven years).

Your rights

You may ask for access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold, and you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner in Malaysia. Write to hello@weblighthouse.click. We will answer within 21 days.

International transfers

Our email and file hosts may store backups outside Malaysia. We choose hosts that contract to protect the data and we avoid sending full production logs through ordinary email.

Processors

We use a website host to serve this static site, and an email provider to receive hello@weblighthouse.click. Analytics cookies run only if you accept them; see the cookie notice.

We do not sell personal data.
