Refunds, deposits, and moved dates

These rules apply to professional time you book with Web Lighthouse. We do not sell boxed products, subscriptions, or downloadable courses.

Eligibility

A refund is available when we have not yet started reading your files, or when we cancel because we cannot staff the week we promised. Once reading or facilitation has begun, refunds are partial or not available, as set out below.

Timeframe to ask

Write to hello@weblighthouse.click within 14 days of the invoice date if you believe a refund is due, and before the readout date if you need to cancel a session.

Programme reviews

The 40% deposit is refundable in full if you cancel before we confirm that the document pack is complete enough to start. After we confirm start, the deposit is kept against time already spent. If you cancel after a draft has been issued, remaining fees for unread weeks may be waived; work already written is charged. If we cancel, you receive a full refund of sums paid for that review.

Single-campaign readouts and workshops

Paid in full before the date. Cancel with more than five working days’ notice and we refund 80%. Inside five working days, we refund 40% unless we can fill the slot, in which case we refund 80%. If you do not attend and do not write, the fee is kept. If we cancel, you receive a full refund or a new date, at your choice.

Monthly office hours

The current month is not refundable once the half-day has been held. Unused months in a four-month block can be paused once, for up to six weeks, if you write before the month begins. We do not refund a block because your sending vendor changed.

Work already started, materials, no-shows

Interview time, draft writing, and glossary pages already produced are not refundable. We purchase almost no materials on your behalf; if a printed bound copy was made at your request, that print charge is not refundable. No-shows for readouts and workshops are treated as a late cancel.

Rescheduling

One free reschedule with at least five working days’ notice. Later moves are treated as a cancel-and-rebook under the percentages above.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the original bank transfer or card channel within 14 working days after we agree the amount. We do not pay cash at the Petaling Jaya desk.
