Terms of engagement

These terms apply when you request a review, workshop, readout, or monthly office hours from Web Lighthouse (“we”, “us”). By sending a brief or paying a deposit you accept them. If a signed statement of work exists, it prevails where it is more specific.

The work

We provide professional reading, interviews, workshops, and written findings about push notification analytics. We do not operate your sending vendor, host a product, or process payments for third parties. You remain responsible for complying with your own privacy notices and with the Messaging Code practices that apply to your app.

Fees and invoices

Fees are in Malaysian ringgit as set out on the fees page or in a written quote. Invoices are payable within 14 days unless the statement of work says otherwise. SST is added where required by Malaysian law.

Intellectual property

You keep your copies, logs, and event dictionaries. We keep our methods, checklists, and generic examples. The findings PDF is licensed to your organisation for internal use. You may not resell it or present it as your own research.

Confidentiality

We treat logs and copies as confidential and destroy working copies as described in our privacy notice. You agree not to share other clients’ names you may learn in our office.

Liability

Findings are professional opinions based on the files you supply. We are not liable for lost sends, app-store action, or regulatory fines. Our aggregate liability for a given engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement, except where Malaysian law forbids a limit (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction, with a preference for the courts at Shah Alam where a venue must be named.

Changes

We may update these terms on this page. Work already booked follows the version in force on the date of the quote.
